It can be overwhelming to notice and be so tired of just surviving life.

The feeling on edge constantly, tightness in the body causing pain, auto-piloting and not finding the joy…

Yes the adversity in life rewires our brain to adapt but the good news is so does somatic healing work.

I am living proof after suffering for a long time with CPTSD, insomnia and multiple health issues that awareness, willingness to change and persistence can get us out of the constant feeling of threat and into safety.

But it’s not found solely on the outside and in changing our environments.

The internal safety is built over time.
