Somatic Sessions

An informative, practical & holistic way of addressing trauma & stress by focusing on the connection between the mind & body. We will tend to our nervous system & learn to attune to our bodies to help discover how we hold onto trauma by creating enough space to pay attention to physical sensations, feelings and movement. Somatic sessions explain how the nervous system works, why it’s important to keep balanced, and how our past experiences can still affect our emotions, health, and relationships. These 7 sessions also cover common physical symptoms linked to trauma, such as digestive issues, sleep problems, muscle tension, and headaches. It highlights the benefits of somatic healing, like reduced anxiety, better sleep, and improved emotional regulation. Practical advice is given on self-care, including breathing exercises, and connecting with supportive people. Finally, it encourages finding personal strategies that work for you and offers tips to avoid burnout while healing.
